Gabriel Jesus has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament after picking up an injury in Brazil’s loss to Cameroon yesterday.
The Arsenal striker started his first game for Brazil in this year’s World Cup against Cameroon on Friday night. Jesus looked his lively self and put in a respectable first half performance but the striker was subbed off in the 64th minute, for what seemed like a tactical tweak.
It has now emerged that Jesus suffered a knee injury in the game and could be out for the next 3-4 weeks.

Even though Brazil have tons of attacking power, they lack conventional number nine’s. Now they must rely on Richarlison too lead the line for the rest of the tournament.
It seems that the striker could recover in time to feature for Arsenal in January but he may miss the sides Christmas game against West Ham.
