Tyson Fury has accepted a $1m bet with Jake Paul that Tommy Fury will be triumphant when the two fighters take to the ring.

Tommy Fury and Jake Paul were initially supposed to take to the ring in December of last year. However, after the British fighter broke a rib during training camp, the fight was cancelled and Tyron Woodley stepped in.

Paul insisted that Fury would never get the chance to fight him again, yet this week the bout was re-confirmed to be taking place on August 6th, with Amanda Serrano fighting as the co-main on the highly-anticipated card.

With the fight being merely six weeks away, all involved will be going into promotional overdrive to ensure that it’s a hit at the box office. Both Tyson and John Fury have been dusted off to create a buzz around the fight.

One way that the Fury clan have added an extra edge to the bout is by Tyson Fury agreeing to a $1m bet with Jake Paul via social media. The heavyweight king took to Twitter to accept Paul’s proposal.

Tommy himself is not a natural promoter in the way that Tyson is. Even if neither he nor John will be able to make the trip to the U.S.A for the fight, it’s important for both men to be involved throughout the build-up.
