Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are set to finally meet to decide who is the undisputed heavyweight king.

The prospective bout should happen in late December or January 2024 and will crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999 when the masterful Lennox Lewis was champion.

Fury of course will have to deal with the former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou first but should he come through the bout unscathed then boxing fans will finally get the fight they all wanted.

Robert Garcia was in ‘AJ’s’ corner in his failed attempt to regain his titles against Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch and he believes Fury is ‘too heavy’ and ‘too big’ for the Ukrainian.

“A few rounds, Usyk fights well, gives Fury problems, but I think Fury’s too big, too strong, too heavy. He’s gonna use his advantages to tire him out cause Usyk does tire too. He doesn’t like body shots. Fury’s gunna be too heavy for him, tire him out and finish him.”
