Zhang, 31, claimed strawweight gold after she beat Jessica Andrade in 2019.

Following a successful title defence in a bout that was considered ‘fight of the year’ against Joanna Jedrzejczyk last year, Zhang is now set to face former champ Namajunas at UFC 261.

The first of three title bouts at UFC 261 will see Zhang go up against the highly-rated Namajunas who previously lost the title to Andrade.

Looking to reclaim the title she lost in early 2019, Namajunas, who has two incredible wins over Jedrzejczyk on her record, will be hoping she get back to title-winning ways later this year.

Speaking about the mouth-watering all-female title showdown, former boxing heavyweight Tyson recently gave his predictions while speaking on his ‘Hot Boxin’ podcast.

The now-retired fighting legend admitted he thinks Namajunas will ‘destroy’ the current champ when the two collide next month – comments Zhang has not taken too kindly to.

When asked about Tyson’s recent remarks, Zhang, while speaking to China Global, said: “Tyson has no right to comment because he knows nothing about MMA. He knows nothing about me.

“I will not be affected, but do my best instead – and I suggest Tyson try MMA himself.”
