🚨 Conor McGregor warned he is following same road as Mike Tyson

Conor McGregor has been warned he’s been taking the same path as boxing icon Mike Tyson took.

The Irishman has been plagued by injuries and controversies in recent times.

Infact, he hasn’t fought in the Octagon since July of 2021 when he faced Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight.

He was due to return to the sport last year, but a toe injury forced him out of his scheduled fight with Michael Chandler.

Legendary boxing coach Teddy Atlas believes the combination of inactivity and injury may have robbed McGregor of his prime years in the same way they did to his former student ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.

Atlas told CanadaCasino.ca: “There’s a window on physical talent. He is older now he’s been through injuries.

“That physical talent he has, has been inactive, that physical talent is obviously not what it once was.

“He was a great counterpuncher. He could punch.

“He was a southpaw. He was tremendous in that window of time.”

He added: “He was tremendous, and he was tough, like they all were.

“Because he went through his times where he fought with injuries, but like Mike Tyson, I don’t know that he’s that guy anymore.

“Forget about all what we want him to be. I don’t know that he’s the same guy anymore.”

More recently McGregor has hit the headlines after he was found liable for sexual assault in his civil case against Nikita Hand.

The 36-year old maintains his innocence and claimed the relationship was consensual.
