Low, 61, has managed Germany’s national side for the last 15 years.
The German head coach has helped guide Die Mannschaft to two major trophies, including the 2013-14 World Cup.
However, after what has been a largely successful time at the forefront of German international football, Low has decided to call it a day.

The news has sparked speculation that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could be next in line to take up the position with Rangers manager and Merseyside legend Steven Gerrard set to replace Klopp.
Klopp is enduring a notoriously difficult time in the Liverpool dugout and after being winless in their last six home games, speculation that the German could leave the club is rife.
Ahead of the news that Klopp is one of the favourites to replace Low, here is how some footballing fans have reacted.
