Fabien Barthez is Now Racing in Le Mans – What a Man

The former Manchester United goalkeeper Fabien Barthez is now racing Motor car, quite a change from being between the sticks for the Red Devils and the French national team where he won a World Cup back in 1998.

At the age of 36, Barthez took up motorsport professionally in 2008 when he competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup France. The last club Barthez played was Nantes back in 2007. Barthez also raced the famous 24 Hours race of Le Mans race in 2014.

What a character the French man was when he played with Manchester United, according to Sir Alex Ferguson he fancied himself more outfield then between the sticks.
