There was speculation that ‘The Gypsy King’ may retire following the postponement of his clash with Oleksandr Usyk.
The pair were due to meet on February 17th but Fury was cut in sparring meaning the fight was cancelled for a second time in quick succession.
This followed the original date of December 23rd where Fury’s performance against Francis Ngannou in October scuppered that fight date.
Dramatic night in Riyadh 😲

And speaking to Seconds Out, Hearn was asked if he thought Fury might retire following the postponement of the undisputed clash. He said: “He’s not my fighter, I can’t speak on his behalf, but I don’t think so. I think he will want to fight and prove people wrong. There probably is wear and tear. Everybody gets it as they get older in a career.”
The fight was rescheduled swifty and now Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will collide in Riyadh on May 18th… hopefully.
