West Ham manager David Moyes has seemingly turned invisible, or so would have been the assumption of those tuning into his press conference this afternoon.

The Hammers began their Premier League campaign in style, defeating Newcastle United 4-2 at St. James’ Park despite trailing twice in the match.

David Moyes and co will be looking to build on that as they play in front of a home crowd for the first time this season, with Leicester City their opponents.

It’s not entirely clear if Moyes will be present at the fixture at this point, though, with the Scotsman being nowhere to be seen during his pre-match press conference.

The context is not entirely clear, whether Moyes never showed up to speak to the press, popped to the toilet or has ACTUALLY discovered how to turn himself invisible.

One thing’s for sure, though, the journalists who dedicated their Friday afternoons to tuning into what Moyes had to say will have been left underwhelmed…
