Chelsea are preparing a €100M bid for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku, who is seen as the perfect alternative for Erling Haaland, according to Italian publication Calciomercato.
Chelsea have made significant forward strides under Thomas Tuchel, with yesterday’s 2-0 victory against Porto testament to that. There can be no denying, though, that the Blues are in dire need of a centre-forward who can do the business.

Chelsea need a new striker – and a good one, too. As per Calciomercato, they could look to re-sign Romelu Lukaku, who is currently playing his football at the summit of Serie A with Inter Milan.
Calciomercato report that Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland is top of Roman Abramovich’s shortlist, but with the Norwegian borderline unobtainable, Lukaku could provide the alternative.
The Italian outlet claim that Chelsea are preparing to offer €100M in exchange for the Belgian goal-machine. Though, there’s suggestion in the report that Inter would be very reluctant to sell, and it’s easy to understand why.
