Four years ago, a horrific plane crash in Brazil killed 71 people. LaMia Flight 2933 was carrying 77 people including the entire Chapecoense squad and staff along with many others, there were only 6 survivors with 3 Chapecoense players making it out alive.
The crash shocked the world and nearly ruined the club but last night they bounced back better than ever and the emotional story continues.
It’s the 98th minute and Chapecoense lead against Confianca 2-1 at home, if they win they go tied on points with América Mineiro, Chapecoense ere awarded a penalty and Ramon stepped up to the spot.
He collected himself before chipping the ball into the back of the net in one of the coldest Panenka penalties you will ever witness.

Once the final whistle had blown and Chapecoense league victory by goal difference was confirmed came to most emotional part of the night. It was Alan Ruschel, one of the three survivor’s chance to lift the trophy.
The defender is the only survivor still playing and is now the club captain so this victory and trophy lift means the absolute world to him and everyone around him.
