Thiago Silva is set to sign a new contract at Chelsea that will keep him at the club until 2024 just before his 40th birthday.
The Brazilian has been a rock at the back for Chelsea since signing on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2020.
The 38-year old has made 106 appearances for the Blues, winning a Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup in South West London.

At the start of the month, Siva expressed his desire to stay at Chelsea, saying he was pleased with where he is at this point in his career.

Silva has impressed alongside Benoit Badiashile at centreback in the past few matches for Chelsea and Blues fans will hope he agrees this new contract sooner rather than later, so he can continue his legacy at Stamford Bridge.
