🚨 British heavyweight analyzes Joshua vs. Dubois power; reveals top UK Puncher he faced

Posted by

Anthony Joshua could face Daniel Dubois at Wembley stadium in September.

Dubois claimed the mandatory IBF title position when he stopped Filip Hrgovic in Saudi Arabia to potentially land a mouthwatering all British clash with Anthony Joshua.

But much depends on if Oleksandr Usyk will be granted an exemption from the IBF to defend his undisputed title against Tyson Fury on December 21st.

One man that has sparred with both Joshua and Dubois is Frazer Clarke and he has shared the key differences in their punching power.

Speaking to Boxing Social he said:

β€œBoth of those guys have been through stages in their career where they have had questions asked of them and with the form that they are in, I think that it makes for a really competitive fight. I still have β€˜AJ’ as the favourite but I have said this before and I will say it again, Daniel Dubois is not the heaviest puncher that I have been in with – but he is probably in the top three or four, he can really whack.

β€œIt’s a different kind of punch but I think that on a single shot probably Joshua, just [punches harder]. Joshua comes with a bit more speed than Dubois so they come sharp, Dubois is a real thud. I’ll say it again, and he has no place in this conversation [about Joshua and Dubois] but both of them two are leaps and bounds away from David Price – f*** me, Jesus Christ.

β€œThat was different gravy. I was young at the time, probably 17 or 18, but that was an experience. I think that he was taking it easy as well! In one punch, David Price has unbelievable power. Unbelievable.”
