With every tournament victory comes a trophy parade and that is exactly what the Argentina football team had planned after they beat France on penalties to win the Qatar World Cup.
Upon arriving back in Buenos Aires, celebrations continued well into the early hours of the morning and understandably so.
But unfortunately, the parade had to be called off due to too many of the city’s population lining the streets and also a shock series of events regarding a couple of supporters.

Just as the parade bus was about to go under a bridge in the city, a fan jumped from it onto the top deck, before another also jumped, but missed the bus and fell straight onto the ground.

The bus continued under the bridge as the events unfolded, but with the celebrations now called off, it brings to an end the supporters’ chance to herald their national heroes in the country’s capital.
