The poor results and even worse football clearly became too tough to stomach for Levy, and the fans alike, with Nuno Espirito Santo having been sacked on Monday morning.

It fast became clear that Antonio Conte would be the man to replace him.

While some may think Conte’s mad to have accepted the Tottenham job, especially in the midst of such a bad run, he will reportedly be given cash to splash in the transfer market in a bid to get the engines firing.
