Antonio Conte is in advanced talks over becoming the new Tottenham manager, according to Sky Italy reporter Alessandro Alciato.
Conte, whose managerial brilliance helped Inter Milan end their decade-long wait for a scudetto this season, departed the San Siro after a difference of opinion with the club’s hierarchy.
The Italian may well have fancied his chances at landing the Real Madrid job, which was made available by Zinedine Zidane’s departure, but Carlo Ancelotti returned to his former post.

Levy is a notoriously difficult man to work with, while Conte has a history of falling out with his superiors. Is this a match made in heaven, or hell?
