Chelsea are plotting a major summer clear-out, with as many as eleven players set to leave in the upcoming transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
The Blues were crowned Champions of Europe on Saturday, with the squad, staff and everyone else with any affiliation to the club spending the following hours partying – and rightly so.
However, soon focus will turn to planning ahead for next season, and while Chelsea’s squad is a strong one, it’s also a very big one – too big, in fact, with players also due to return from loan.

As per the Daily Mail, that’s something that the Chelsea hierarchy are well aware of, with as many as eleven players potentially set to be sold or loaned by the club in the upcoming transfer window.
The Daily Mail offer some insight into who those players could be, naming: Fikayo Tomori, Olivier Giroud, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Billy Gilmour, Conor Gallagher, Davide Zappacosta, Emerson Palmieri and Tiemoue Bakayoko as potential departees.
Tuchel will likely be keen to have a look at everyone when they return for pre-season, especially those he has not yet assessed in the flesh. Following that, there may well be a mass exodus at Stamford Bridge.
