Goal! might be the most famous football movie of all time as we have all seen Santiago Munez’s rise to stardom from America, to the Premier League and even Real Madrid but it seems like this might be happening in real life too now with Santiago Munoz starting for Liga MX’s Club Santos Laguna.
18 year old Santiago Munoz made his debut for the club last night and it seems Newcastle were watching as they retweeted the club’s announcement.

Munez made a big money transfer to Real Madrid so maybe Mike Ashley is looking to re-enact the movie to make a quick buck but Club Santos released a tweet stating that Newcastle had not made contact about a transfer yet, maybe they’ll wait to see if he’s as good as the movies.
