Tottenham has had their opening bid for fullback Pedro Porro rejected by Sporting Lisbon.
Antonio Conte and his Spurs side have been underwhelming, to say the least, this season. Many were tipping the North London team to push for the title instead they find themselves barely grasping onto Champions League football.

They’re currently five points behind Manchester United in fifth place and have put in some consistently bad performances this campaign.
If you had to pinpoint one area where the side could improve it’s in their right back position.
Conte’s teams over the years have relied on outstanding wingbacks to push the team on, he doesn’t have that quality in his side at the moment.
But Tottenham is attempting to fix this issue with a January move for a highly touted fullback, Pedro Porro.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have had a cash-plus player bid rejected by Sporting Lisbon who is holding out for a €45m bid to match his release clause.

Porro has been outstanding for the Portuguese side and this transfer is one to keep an eye on.
