Steven Gerrard has emerged as the surprise favourite for the Nottingham Forest job.
The former Liverpool midfielder has been out of work since getting sacked by Aston Villa in October of last year.
Gerrard was very impressive while in charge of Rangers but had a disaster at the English club.
But he has now emerged as the new favourite to take over Steve Cooper’s position at Nottingham Forest who are currently in the relegation zone.
According to Sky Bet, Gerrard is 3/1 for the new position followed by Patrick Viera and Jorge Sampaoli.
Although speculation over Cooper’s sacking has been constant, it looks like the club might back him to turn things around this season.

If the club do decide to let him go, would Gerrard be a good replacement?
