Barcelona was awarded a penalty in their crucial Europa League tie with Manchester United and the fans are not happy.
The Red Devils face off against the Catalan club in the second leg of their Europa League tie with the game level at 2-2 before kick-off.
Manchester United got off to a great start and looked to be piling the pressure on their opposition but was hit a sucker punch just under 20 minutes in.
Barcelona was awarded a penalty for a perceived foul by Bruno Fernandes and Robert Lewandowski stepped up to score.
But United fans were furious at the decision and took to social media to give their opinion.

It is the same ref that refereed the 2021 Europa League final when Man Utd lost to Villarreal on penalties.

First blood to @FCBarcelona. Very soft penalty. If they were always given for that, there would be 10 penalties a game, but VAR probably right not to intervene as not a massive error. The complexities of VAR.
