The English striker joined from Tottenham for a reported £7.5 million but according to the report, Daniel Levy and Harry Redknapp worked with an unlicensed agent named, Mitchell Thomas.
This went against the FA regulations which banned clubs from using unlicensed agents with a breach resulting in a potential fine or even a points deduction.
The FA didn’t take any action against the club at the time but after the report from the Times, the case could potentially be reviewed again.
