🚨 Hurling match abandoned after player is racially abused

Waterford’s minor match with Offaly was called off after a player was racially abused.

The incident took place two weeks ago in Dunmore Training Centre in the second half of Waterford’s minor clash with Offaly.

After the Waterford player was racially abused the entire team walked off the pitch in protest.

Waterford was understandably furious over the situation but the matter has now been resolved between the two counties according to The Independent.

The player who was accused of the abuse has since written a letter of apology to the Waterford player and no further action is expected.
