Conor McGregor has called out his former friend Artem Lobov amidst the ongoing civil issues in Russia.
A rebellion run by Yevgeny Prigozhin was reportedly challenging Vladimir Putin’s reign, potentially leading to a civil war in the country. Prigozhin later said ‘he had called off his troops’ march on Moscow’.
But the Irishman decided to fire a huge dig at Artem Lobov in relation to the news.
He Tweeted:

Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov were once close friends but ‘The Russian Hammer’ sued the former two-division UFC champion for allegedly not getting credit for his ‘assistance’ with creating Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey.
Lobov did not win the case and was ordered to pay the legal fees of McGregor much to the UFC star’s delight.
McGregor is currently coaching on this season’s The Ultimate Fighter but his team have lost every fight so far. A prospective fight against Michael Chandler looks unlikely to take place this year with McGregor not entering the USADA testing pool.
