REVEALED: Bookies favourites to replace Jeff Stelling as Soccer Saturday presenter

Sky Sports News icon Chris ‘Kammy’ Kamara has shared the frontrunners for Jeff Stelling’s presenter gig, or rather how it’s viewed by the bookies.

Jeff revealed over the weekend that he would be calling time on his career in the Soccer Saturday hot seat. Not to retire, rather pursue other endeavours and “let someone else have a go.”

Naturally, that has spun the rumour mill into action as sports fans speculate as to who could succeed him on the primetime Saturday show. Some of the suggestions are quite hilarious.

Kammy has taken to Twitter to rather helpfully share a screengrab of the top contenders, with him himself being the bookies’ favourite at 11/1.

Jeff Stelling has announced he will be leaving Sky Sports at the end of the season

We’d be intrigued to learn why Roy Keane, who is employed by Sky Sports, is seen as having the same likelihood of taking the job as former X Factor chief Simon Cowell.

Nevertheless, we’d be intrigued to see his assessment of some performances on the ACTUAL biggest stage of them all, the Premier League.

As for Alison Hammond at 80/1, she’s an outside contender, but surely it’s worth a quid? Imagine the energy in the studio if she were running the show…
