A major change to the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk fight has been rejected.
We are just weeks aways from the undisputed clash in Saudi Arabia, where either Fury or Usyk will be crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.
Ahead of the fight, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman had distributed an ’emergency petition’ to everyone involved asking them to institute a six-judge panel for their undisputed fight with the theory being that six judges will minimise the effect of a bad scorecard.

But, Hall of fame promoter,Bob Arum has rejected this idea and explained why.
He said: “You don’t put in something like that for the first time dealing with a major fight from the standpoint of visibility and importance.
“Maybe six judges are better than three. I doubt that, but maybe. Nobody knows because it hasn’t been done. But at least you experiment with that with fights that are not as prominent.
He added: “With all due respect to my friend Mauricio – who’s a really good guy, loves the sport of boxing and has done a great job with the WBC – I wouldn’t do it for this fight. I wouldn’t say that you don’t experiment with it for another fight. I don’t believe the judging becomes better because you have six judges rather than three.”

Usyk will win the fight hands down, it will be an utter mismatch, fury will finally be exposed for the the poor opposition he’s faced since he became champ.
One thing I know for sure is fury fans will be out in droves with excuses. Remember you heard it from me.

We will see, what I know is Fury is as smart and tough of a boxer as I’ve ever seen. Usyk is way too small and hasn’t beaten anyone of note, and please don’t say Joshua. When he beat Joshua people were calling Joshua a fraud because he is.
If you are betting type, put your money on Usyk. Fury will be beaten and exposed for the fraud that he is.
Fury has only fought one or two quality fighters, the most prominent being Klitschko.
He lost to Ngannou and was supposed to lose to the other fellow who cut his face.
I would not be surprised if he ducks this fight again with another flimsy excuse.
How did he loose to Ngannou you obviously don’t know how they do the scoring in boxing it takes more than 1 knockdown to win a fight
What HW has Usyk beat that’s any good? Fury beat Ngannou from what I recall. Was supposed to lose to the other that cut his face? What’s that mean supposed to? He won every round after sustaining a cut that needed 47 stictches. Z
Fury is 35-0 as a heavyweight. Usyk is 3-0 as a heavy weight. If Usyk fought 32 other heavy weights he would have had some close calls too. That’s heavy weight boxing
