Enzo Fernandez will reportedly be given £2 million from his club Benfica after his potential move to Chelsea broke down.

Chelsea was reportedly in for Benfica’s Fernandez after his incredible display at the World Cup for Argentina. But they would have to pay a breathtaking fee of £120m to secure the 21-year-old’s signature.
Despite their lucrative spending, that was deemed too much for the American owner and they have since moved on to different targets.
Fernandez only signed for Benfica in the summer and as an apology for him not receiving the move to London, the Portuguese club will reportedly compensate him with £2m.
This seems a bit excessive but he is guaranteed to eventually bring in a fortune when the summer comes around.
