Palmer scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists last season and the Blues have rewarded him with a well deserved pay rise and also extended his contract until June of 2033 meaning an extra two years and nine years left to run on his deal.
The contract is believed to be the longest ever signed in English football history, with the London club using this tactic to circumvent Premier League financial rules.
