The Argentine surprisingly left Chelsea at the end of the season despite a strong finish to claim a sixth place position.
He was mentioned as a possible replacement for Gareth Southgate after he decided to step down from his Three Lions role but is said to be heading to the states.

It has now been claimed that Pochettino has agreed to become the manager of the United States men’s national team.

Prime Video LATAM journalist Ivan Kasanzew, who revealed the news wrote on social media: “Sources indicate that Mauricio Pochettino has reached an agreement to become the new United States national team coach.”
The USMNT parted ways with Gregg Berhalter last month after the team’s exit from the 2024 Copa America where the team failed to get out of the group stage.
