WWE gripped by COVID crisis after staff and performers test positive

The WWE are battling with several positive COVID tests ahead of their Holiday Tour.

The WWE Holiday Tour is scheduled to begin on Boxing Day at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Fans will be turning out in their masses to see their favourite wrestlers in action.

However, there are now fears that those attending and watching around the world will now only have a watered-down version of the performances, with the WWE enduring somewhat of a COVID crisis at current.

As is reported by PW Insider, several behind-the-scenes staff and performers felt run down over the weekend and later tested positive for COVID-19, raising serious doubts over their participation in the Holiday Tour.

As is mentioned in the report, the quarantine mandates in force for those to have tested positive for COVID-19 will ensure that there is some level of disruption. The extent, at this point, remains to be seen.

With those who have tested positive now segregated and recovering, the WWE will be tightly crossing their fingers that the internal outbreak spreads no further and there will be no more positive tests returned.
