Wolves boss hints at the club signing Diego Costa – ‘We are ready’

Nuno Espirito Santo, the Wolves manager has added fuel to the fire of rumours that Diego Costa is on his way back to the Premier League with the Molineux as his reported destination.

When asked about Diego Costa, Nuno told the Daily Mail that ‘We have to sit down, plan and it’s a good chance to rebalance our squad. We are ready to make decisions on it,’.

They need to reinforce their striker options after main man Raul Jimenez suffered a horrific skull fracture after clashing with Arsenal’s David Luiz in November. Raul has no specific date for return leaving Nuno in a sticky situation for January, he has to go out and purchase but can not guarantee the new player a starting position for long.

Diego Costa would be perfect for the club as his contract was mutually terminated early by Atletico Madrid. Diego isn’t the same player that he was when he last played in the Premier League but his aggression and play style will always be welcome in England.
