Here’s what was said by Julian Nagelsmann and Fabrizio Romano after the former rejected the chance to become Chelsea manager.
The Blues are currently searching for a new name to take to the Stamford Bridge dugout and yesterday, Nagelsmann reportedly pulled out of the race to become the club’s new boss.
This was according to Fabrizio Romano, who reported that the German took the decision himself to reject Chelsea’s approaches.

“It’s definitely over between Nagelsmann and Chelsea – they had different views on crucial points.”
Naglesmann looked set to become the new man at the helm of Stamford Bridge after Luis Enrique was ruled out by the Blues hierarchy but that now won’t happen.
Nagelsmann himself has since come out to explain the decision behind not wanting to manage the London side, saying to Sky Sports DE: “To cancel something, you have to commit to something.”

This indicates that there were obviously some discrepancies between the two parties and Chelsea will now continue their search for a new manager.
