Check out this absolute peach of a strike by Oldham Athletic’s Daniel Lucas Rowe who smashed home a goal that was so sweet it’s the stuff of dreams.
The goal came in the 32nd minute of Oldham Athletic’s League 2 weekend away fixture to Exeter City and its a strike Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos would be proud of.
Athletic were awarded a free-kick a hefty distance away from goal, right bang smack in the middle of the pitch and former Manchester United man Rowe decided to give it a go – and boy did he.

The 30-tear-old stepped up and gave the ball an almighty wallop which sailed straight into the top left corner of the Exeter City goal.
The connection with the ball was clear from the glorious thud that was made which was made all the more clearer due to the stadium having no fans.
The strike turned out to be the winning goal as Oldham went on to win the game 2-1 thanks to a previous goal by George Blackwood in the 21st minute.
