Chelsea announced today that former club legend and manager Frank Lampard has been sacked and Chelsea have reportedly already agreed a full contract with the new boss.
German manager and ex-Dortmund and PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has been lined up to take charge in Stamford Bridge.

Sky Sports are reporting that an agreement on the contract is already done and Chelsea have learned from past mistake.
The London club is notorious for ending manager’s spells prematurely and have this time decided to agree a very short initial contract of just 18 months and an option to extend for one year.
That leaves Tuchel with the blues until the end of next season which isn’t very long at all.

Many would consider this as a lack of faith in Tuchel from the Chelsea board but both parties seem to be happy with the contract as it stands.
