Bukayo Saka got off to an unbelievable start against Wolves just for it to be ruled out by VAR. A great shot has now been scratched off the scoresheet thanks to the referee and his fellow official behind the screen.
The play started with a great cross from Emile Smith-Rowe from the left wing that hits Holding in the centre of the box before bouncing to Lacazette at the far post.
Lacazette then passes the ball back to the young Saka who struck the ball brilliantly into the back of the net in the left corner.
When checked by the Video Assistant Referee it looked like Lacazette was offside in the buildup and they seemed to be right as Alexandre’s right foot was just ahead of the Wolves defender.
What a shame as he’s really been on fire lately and deserved another goal.
