Everyone knows Kevin De Bruyne is one of the best players in the best players in the Premier League who has some amazing tricks in his locker but his assist to Phil Foden went unnoticed in Manchester City’s brilliant performance against Chelsea for the 3-1 victory. Sky Sports have dissected the pass and broke it down to show just how good it was for the Gillete precision play of the week.
De Bruyne using great positioning to pick up a loose ball on the left wing before dribbling into the edge of the box and then nutmegs veteran defender Azpilicueta with a cutting pass that goes directly to Phil Foden’s feet where the young Englishman brilliantly finishes into the near post. A brilliant bit of awareness and skill shown by the Belgian, proving why his name is always up there when speaking about Premier League greats.
Remember kids, stay clever, keep 'em together!
