Check out this absolute howler of a miss by Plymouth Argyle’s Niall Ennis during their clash with Accrington Stanley.
To be fair to the striker he did score the only goal of the game as Plymouth overcame Accrington 1-0 to extend their unbeaten run to seven games in League One.
Unfortunately for Ennis he was also at the centre of arguably the miss of the season after he missed an open goal.
Ennis had found himself in a great position and he probably couldn’t believe his luck when the ball fell to him at the back post with the goal exposed but sadly he got his angles all wrong and smashed the ball over the bar from one yard out.

The former Wolves striker scored his first goal in league goal against the Reds in a 2-2 draw at Home Park at the end of last month.
Ennis made it two for two against Accrington after he capitalised on a defensive mix-up to secure the three points and end Stanley’s four-match unbeaten streak.
