Manchester City have released a clip of the awkwardly funny moment shared between Pep Guardiola and Bernardo Silva during their Premier League game against West Brom when the City boss accidentally left his player hanging for a first-bump.

We’ve all been there and we know the feeling and the video of the City duo proves that it can happen to the best of us.

Silva had been subbed off by the Spanish manager and when the Portugal international went to get some recognition from his gaffer he was unfortunately left hanging for a fist-bump as Guardiola had already turned around.

Silva probably won’t mind being let down though after his side smashed poor West Brom 5-0 in a vintage City performance that bumped the back to the top of the Premier League table.

City were at the brilliant best against the Baggies with in form midfielder Ilkay Gundogan getting himself two goals with Joao Cancelo, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling netting the other three.
