Lionel Messi’s brother slammed Barcelona president, Joan Laporta claiming that the PSG forward will not return while he’s there.
Messi left the Nou Camp in 2021 as a free agent after Barcelona were unable to register him due to his contract demands.
Heartbroken, the 35-year-old moved to PSG where he is still currently playing but there is speculation that he could leave Paris when his contract expires in the summer.

He has been linked with a move back to the Catalan club but according to his brother, he won’t return until Laporta is gone.

”I have a SPORT cutting that says “Messi should return to Barcelona” and I’ve put underneath it “Hahaha”. We are not going back to Barcelona, and if we do, we are going to have a good clearout, kicking-out, among others, Joan Laporta who is ungrateful after all that Messi did for Barcelona.” he said on his Twitch channel.
‘People [in Barcelona] did not support him. People should have gone out to do a march or something, let Laporta leave and Messi stay. The Catalans are traitors.’
