VIDEO: Heartbreak and joy side by side after dramatic last-second GAA victory

This year’s South Tipperary under-14A football final was the setting for a classic sporting moment of joy for one side and devastation for the other.

The match between Clonmel Óg and Moyle Rovers was played last month, but this clip from the game has gone viral since it was posted on YouTube a few days ago.

Moyle Rovers led by nine points with 19 minutes left on the clock, but Clonmel Óg fought their way back into contention until they reduced the gap to two points with only seconds to go.

Then Moyle Rovers fans learned the lesson and fans have in the past – it ain’t over til it’s over.

Clonmel took possession in their own half and carefully worked the ball up to Rhys O’Regan, who buried the ball in the back of the net to give his side the win.

Victory snatched from the jaws of defeat for one side; heartbreak for the other
