Ilkay Gundogan was speaking with Sky Sports ahead of Man City’s clash away to Chelsea today at 16:30. Ilkay made a serious point of two Chelsea stars that “are struggling” at the moment but will succeed in the future. He named 2 fellow countrymen Kai Havertz and Timo Werner, the Chelsea forwards didn’t exactly hit the ground running when arriving in London at Stamford Bridge with Kai suffering the most.
The Independent reported that Frank Lampard named Covid-19 as a reason for Kai’s struggling in the Premier League. The German made the big money move from Bayer Leverkusen, costing Roman Abramovich’s side a whopping £70m. The midfielder has played 14 Premier League games for the blues so far this season registering just 1 goal and 2 assists according to Transfermarkt.

Will today be the day he really shines or will Timo Werner be the one to prove Ilkay right and score against Man City? Are they going to prove their worth at Chelsea or are they flops.
