After over one thousand minutes of Premier League football, German striker Timo Werner has expressed his immense happiness at finally scoring another Premier League goal.
The German striker joined Chelsea last Summer and was a roaring success for RB Leipzig but it hasn’t been the exact same story since his arrival at Chelsea with the forward going 100 days without a goal in the League.
He has now ended that drought and will look to carry on his goal scoring ways into the Champions League against Atletico Madrid next week and further Premier League games.
Timo Werner finally ended his Premier League goal drought as Chelsea eased past Newcastle with a 2-0 win to move into the top four.

In his post match interview he was asked how he felt and his response was “Finally”. A man that is happy to be on the scoresheet once again as he registered a goal and an assist in tonight’s 2-0 win over Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.

Has he been a good signing for the club or should they have trusted in Tammy and Giroud?
