WOW! Denmark have taken the lead over Belgium within two minutes, with Jason Denayer making a catastrophic error.
With all that happened last time out for Denmark in regards to Christian Eriksen, and their subsequent defeat to Finland, we couldn’t help but wonder whether they would be in a suitable frame of mind for this game.
Any doubts there were over their mental readiness for the contest were waved away within two minutes, with Yussuf Poulsen finding the bottom corner of Thibaut Courtois’ goal to give the Danes the lead.

Jason Denayer, having given the ball away with a far too casual pass on the edge of his own penalty area, found himself dragged into an area which left Poulsen with a pocket of space on the edge of the box.
Having received the ball to feet, Poulsen took full advantage, releasing a clinical finish into the bottom corner. What a start – that’s for you, Christian Eriksen!
