Fans have always known that former Man City forward Leroy Sane had a powerful left foot but tonight for Bayern Munich he has shown just how strong he is. A long range effort on the Borussia Monchengladbach goal was stopped by defender Matthias Ginter but at a serious cost. The German centre back appears to be knocked out as he tried to head Sane’s shot away.
Bayern were down by one goal when Sane attempted his shot with the forward eager to get Bayern back on level terms and the power he put into the shot shows that. Ginter leaned into the ball before being knocked back off his feet and hitting the ground hard, play was stopped as medical staff treated the centre back who was somehow deemed ok to carry on.
