Arsenal’s usually clinical striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has had an opportunity to forget after the Gunners talisman somehow managed to miss an open goal from a yard out.
The moment happen after about 15 minutes of play in Arsenal’s Premier League encounter with Newcastle at the Emirates.
Bukayo Saka had made a good run down the right and had beaten his man before hitting the ball across the goal where it broke to Aubameyang after a slight deflection off the Newcastle goalkeeper.

All Auba had to do it get it on target but somehow the Gunners striker managed to kick the ball up into the air, hit the crossbar and away.
The angle was quite tight and you can forgive him for missing but for a player with such natural finishing ability you would have bet your house on him finding the net.
Fortunately for Steve Bruce’s men the Gabon international wasn’t his usual sharp self and Newcastle were spared going behind early in a crucial game for the Toon.
