Mayo lost another All-Ireland final again today this time against a tough and super fit Tyrone team on a scoreline of 0-15 to 2-14 that’s two All-Ireland final’s in a row that Mayo have now lost and in truth they can only blame themselves for this one. They had their opportunities and didn’t make the Ulster Champions Tyrone pay, especially the missed penalty from Ryan O’Donoghue and Tyrone’s opening goal, which was a soft one.
The whole country bar Tyrone people obviously were fully behind this Mayo side and really wanted to see the curse lifted and for Sam Maguire to go west. Sadly it won’t be this year once again and Mayo will be back to the drawing board as the gear up for 2022.
Hats off to this Mayo fan below though, who managed to sneak into Croke Park to enjoy the All-Ireland final. The stadiums was half the capacity, so tickets were at a premium.
