Tributes to the late Colin Bell have been pouring in on Twitter following the announcement of his passing by Manchester City.
Manchester City announced the passing of club legend after a short non-Covid related illness.
City made the announcement on their website stating: ‘It is with the deepest sadness and heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of Manchester City legend Colin Bell.’

Bell who was known as ‘Colin The King, made 492 appearances for the club scoring 152 goals during his 13 year spell at the club.
During that time Bell won two Charity shields, two League cups, one European cup winners cup, the FA cup plus the old English first division.
Since the sad news of his passing tributes have been pouring in to pay their respects to the former City midfielder.
