The first issue the players are reportedly concerned with is Mourinho’s defensive approach, the players feel he is too defensive and they would like to become more attacking.

Their second problem is too much attention is being paid to the opposition and Spurs elite players would prefer to focus more on their game than worry about their opponents.

Lastly, the start that make breaking the back of Mourinho’s Spurs reign is intensity. The Spurs roster feel they are not as intense enough and would like to go back to the old ways of Mauricio Pochettino.

The report in The Athletic also suggests that Spurs North-London stars are becoming “bored and frustrated” with José’s approach to pre-match preparations.

Mourinho focused on how to defend throw-ins ahead of a crunch clash with Liverpool this season which left the Tottenham team left team baffled reports the Mirror.

It’s yet to be seen if Tottenham will move to replace Mourinho or wait out the rest of the season an perhaps reevaluate in the summer.
