TJ Reid: “We Were Waiting in the Long Grass”

The 34 year old Kilkenny superstar TJ Reid was Speaking to RTE’s Damian Lawlor at full-time as Kilkenny hammered the Banner county at Croke Park in the All-Ireland semi-final.

The five time All-star says Kilkenny were waiting in the long grass since the Leinster hurling final and the training went well and the prep ahead of this massive game against Clare. It was a very disappointing semi-final and one where the Banner failed to back up what they’ve been doing all year.

Would you give the cats a chance of adding another All-Ireland to their name? They have a great chance there’s no doubt about it and will find out today in the other semi-final between Galway and Limerick who they will face in the final..
