Cian O’Neill has stepped down as Kildare senior football manager.
The Newbridge man has left his position after four years in charge of the Lilywhites.
Kildare achieved back-to-back promotions from Division 3 to Division 1 in the first two years of his tenure, contested the 2017 Leinster final, and reached the Super 8s last year.
This year, they defeated Wicklow, Longford (after a replay), and Antrim, but lost to Dublin in Leinster and were knocked out by Tyrone.
They finished fourth in Division 2 of the League.
